Reset Your Nervous System: Free Guided Meditation

When your head won't slow down, start with your body.

A free guided meditation to bring your nervous system back inside your window, recorded by me, for the moments you actually need it.

Here's the problem with most stress advice. It's written down. And when your nervous system is running hot, reading a list of techniques is about the last thing your brain wants to do.

So I recorded this instead. Put your headphones in, close your eyes, and let my voice do the thinking for a few minutes. Your only job is to follow along. That's the whole point: when you're outside your window, you don't need more information. You need a way back in.

Want to understand what's happening underneath? Nervous System Reset Techniques and Window of Tolerance explain the why. This is the try-it-now part.

How to use it

Same meditation, three ways to get the most out of it.

When

When you need it

After a hard conversation, before a big meeting, at 2am when your mind won't switch off. Any time you've tipped out of your window.

Daily

When you don't

The real gains come from practising when you're calm. Once a day, same time, builds the capacity you'll draw on when things get hard.

Where

Somewhere safe

Sitting or lying down, somewhere you won't be interrupted. Never while driving or doing anything that needs your full attention.

Regulation is the floor, not the ceiling.

A few minutes of steady breathing can take you from wired to settled. That matters. It's the floor everything else stands on.

But if the same things keep pushing you out of your window, the next step is looking at why. The stories underneath. The I Am statements running in the background. That's the work of The Self Blueprint, and the free Stage Assessment shows you where to start.

A note on safety: This is coaching and education, not therapy. If you have a trauma history, or you regularly experience flashbacks, panic attacks or long stretches of numbness, please do this work with a trauma-informed psychologist or counsellor. If anything stirs up more than it settles, stop and reach out. In crisis, call Lifeline on 13 11 14, or 000 in an emergency.

Press play. Let your body go first.
